Ending Child Homelessness Sabbath 2018

Materials for Ending Child Homelessness Sabbath are now available.  During the weekend of January 19-21 congregations from many different parts of the state will be including prayers for homeless children during their worship services.  It is our hope that these documents will make it easy for congregations to participate:
1) Ending Child Homeless Sabbath Worship Resources, which includes prayers and litanies that can be used.
2) Bulletin Insert:  which includes key facts about child homelessness in Utah and details about CORC's Faith & Poverty Day where people can learn more.
3)  More Help for Our Kids: Mothers Experiencing Homelessness Speak Out, A report produced last month by Crossroads Urban Center about the needs of homeless mothers and their families.

Some congregations participating in Ending Child Homelessness Sabbath are collecting diapers for homeless children.  Please let us know if your congregation is planning to do so by contacting Bill Germundson at [email protected] or 801-364-7765 ex 110.
