Every year Crossroads Urban Center organizes a poverty summit during the month of August to bring people together to discuss policies that could reduce hunger, homelessness and poverty in Utah.
The summit for 2026 will take place on the morning of August 29 at the Cathedral Church of St. Mark.

- A panel discussion about the future of homeless services featuring representatives from Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County and Utah government, and
- A panel discussion about the impact of new work requirements on low income Utahns featuring representatives from Utah's Department of Health and Human Services and Department of Workforce Services.
