Every year Crossroads Urban Center organizes a poverty summit during the month of August to bring people together to discuss policies that could reduce hunger, homelessness and poverty in Utah.
The summit for 2023 took place on August 26 and was very successful and attended by over 100 people. We are so grateful that the Cathedral Church of St. Mark was willing to serve as a host. Photos from the summit can be found below, along with links for slides that were prepared for the summit. The summit began with a stirring speech from the Rt. Rev. Phyllis Spiegel, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Utah followed by the presentation of the annual Hellraiser Award to the members of the Second and Second Coalition.
