The Coalition of Religious Communities organizes faith days at the Utah Capitol each year to highlight what different faith traditions have to say about issues of poverty. So far this year we have organized five faith days. We have three more left:
1) United Methodist Day, tomorrow, February 18, 2016,
2) Episcopal Day, on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, and.
3) Multi-Faith Day on Thursday, February 25, 2016.
Each faith day will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 11:00 AM. We will meet in the Aspen Room, which is near the cafeteria in the Senate Building (located to the northeast immediately behind the Utah Capitol Building). Everyone is welcome to attend any, or all, of the faith days. Come learn about poverty issues and how Utah’s legislative process works. Help educate legislators about what Utah’s different religious traditions say about our obligation to help people in poverty obtain necessities like housing and healthcare.
