The Coalition of Religious Communiites meeting on May 19th will include a conversation with representatives from Utah's Department of Workforce Services and Rep. Rebecca Edwards about how our state can set the formal goal of preventing children from becoming homeless. According to the most recent count, there are 898 homeless children in Utah. Allowing children to become homeless creates short term and long term costs. You can read about some of those costs on our blog, Utah Poverty News.
