FACE Hunger and Homelessness
The Faith and Advocacy Coalition to End Hunger and Homelessness, FACE Hunger and Homelessness, brings people together to learn about the causes of hunger and homelessness and to support policies that would reduce those forms of unnecessary suffering.
Our policy priorities for 2024 and 2025In 2024 and 2025 our focus will be on asking the Utah Legislature to pass two bills to reduce the number of families with children that experience homelessness. The first bill will increase the number of low income housing units big enough for families produced in Utah each year. The second bill will improve the services provided to families experiencing homelessness so that they can move out of homelessness faster and be less like to return to homelessness. Every month we will organize an in-person meeting in Salt Lake County and a virtual meeting for people statewide to build support for both of these bills.
