At the Food Pantry

Our food pantry helps thousands of people each month.  We give three-day emergency "food boxes" to families in need, up to six times a year per family.  But food is just the beginning.

In 2019 alone, we provided:
  • emergency food orders to 30,552 people
  • diapers to 1,603 individuals and 235 cans of formula to infants
  • utility shut off avoidance funding to 158 families
  • help paying for gas or bus fare or prescriptions to 3,799 people
It is only through the help of hundreds of volunteers and thousands of donors, of both food and money, that we can help provide these services.

At the Thrift Store

The Thrift Store primarily serves people who have received a voucher, often from the Crossroads food pantry, a community group, or a religious group.  About 92% of our goods are given to these clients for free, while the remaining items are sold at a very low cost to help support the program.

In 2019, we gave $189,855 worth of clothing, shoes, and goods to 11,540 people.
  • 43% were under age 18.
  • 31% were homeless, including entire families
We are so grateful for all of the amazing people who donate their used clothing so that we can give it to people in our community who need it for themselves or for their children
We Welcome:
  • children's clothing
  • women's clothing, especially large sizes
  • men's clothing
