We are so grateful to the good people at KUED, KUER and UEN who organized the Eccles Broadcasting Center Christmas Food and Clothing Drive last week. It's one of the things we look forward to during the holidays here at Crossroads Urban Center. This year we received:
66 turkeys
3 hams
2,201.83 pounds of food (includes the weight of the meat and other groceries)
2 1/2 van loads of stuff to give away at our Thrift Store, especially coat and blankets
and $1,995 in cash & checks
Thanks again to everyone at the Eccles Broadcast Center for organizing this event and to everyone who contributed. This drive helps immensely as we prepare to help our clients end the year with a little holiday cheer.
