Post Election Strategy Meeting

AfterElectionsOn November 15, 2012 at 5:30 PM there will be a meeting at Crossroads Urban Center to discuss priorities for anti-poverty advocacy in Utah following this year's elections.  What are the issues where we can make the biggest impact?  What issues are you personally passionate about?  You can register for this event here on the Crossroads Urban Center website.

This event was announced at our annual Poverty Summit on September 29.  Issues discussed at the summit included expanding Medicaid and ensuring public transportation is affordable for low incom Utahns.  Other issues that are likely to be discussed at this meeting include a proposal to increase the food tax and what Utah can do to help low income people to find and keep better paying jobs.
